Welcome to Paarl Action Sports.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to having you play at our arena.
The following are some rules \ tips \ hints that will help to increase everyone's enjoyment at
Action Sports.

PLEASANTRIES..... Please remember that the " SPIRIT OF THE GAME " is the rule that overrides
all others.

PEOPLE..... Our umpires are only human!!! Please treat them accordingly.

POLLUTION..... Help keep your arena tidy by using the garbage and recycling bins provided.

PUNCTUALITY..... Arrive for your games on time!!!!!!!

POSTPONEMENTS..... Try not to postpone any of your games. This is the biggest cause of disruption
and dissatisfaction between teams.

PAY..... Pay before the start of each game - it makes your team co-ordinator's job a lot easier!!

PREPARE..... Knowledge of the rules will help you enjoy the game more, rules are available on the net.

PROTECT..... Please look after our equipment ---- it's not cheap stuff!!!!!!

PITCH IN .....Get involved both as a player and organizer in the various events that the arena organizes -
Fun Days, Tournaments, Charity Events etc. You are guaranteed to meet some great people and
have loads of fun.

POSITIONING..... Play your grading games correctly, good grading makes exciting games.

PHONE.....Confirm your next game three days in advance by phoning your Team Co-ordinator OR
call us at (021) 868 0615 or fax us at (021) 868 3339.

POINTS..... Points for Cricket games are allocated as follows:

·4 points for a win
·2 points for a draw
·1 point for every skin won
·1 point for matching shirts
·2 points for filling in your player registration card on the night of your game
·1 point for fielding in the allocated 32 minutes

POINTS..... Points for Netball games are allocated as follows:

1 Point for every 5 goals scored
